Fresco Breathable is a silicone/mineral plaster finish paint that provides highly effective waterproofing– and because it breathes - it can prevent problems such as damp, rotting timbers, mould etc. in a variety of situations.
Fresco Breathable has extremely high moisture vapour transmission rates (MVTR), and excellent water repellent properties that minimise absorption into the substrate.
It has a matt finish, is available in either smooth or coarse textures across the full Fresco colour range – and looks fantastic!

Suitability

Fresco Breathable is scientifically formulated for use on cement-based and plaster substrates where high vapour permeability and water repellency are desirable, including concrete block work, render, brick, stone, stucco and other masonry surfaces.
Deep colours are not recommended.

Preparation

Allow concrete or plaster 72 hours of curing before applying Fresco Breathable. First sea all cement-based substrates with Fresco Breathable Primer to ensure maximum adhesion and water resistance.

Application

Thin Breathable with water to a minimum of 2 litres per 10 litres. Breathable should be applied by brush, and two coats are recommended to attain a minimum thickness of 50 micron. Water clean-up.

Coverage

10 m2 per litre.
Available in 1, 4, 10 and test pots.
